Perfect, Apart From The Neckline

This would have been the perfect top for me if the neck hadn’t been so high, I prefer a slightly scooped neckline. The fabric gave the top structure and the sleeves were a perfect fit. It was a good length for my long body without looking frumpy. I agonised over keeping it as it would have been useful for formal and relaxed occasions but sadly I chose to return it because of the neckline.

I bought this top to tone with a pair of nut brown trousers I already had from M&S. The piping matches the trousers perfectly, so together they make a very co-ordinated look. In the photo it looks like it may be a rigid material, but it is a thick stretch material, making it really soft and comfortable. I am a standard size 12 and I ordered size 12 which fits perfectly. I have not laundered it yet but I am confident that it will wash well and be a wardrobe staple for a long time.

I bought this for a holiday to France over Easter, so I was looking for something that gave Spring vibes but suitable for unreliable weather. The material is a good heavy weight so drapes well and totally opaque. Like a very light sweater rather than a tshirt but the shorter sleeves give flexibility. It was comfortable enough to wear to travel. The colour is cream rather than stone, the piping on the shoulders is a complimentary tan/caramel. I wore it with stone chinos and navy trousers and it worked with both. It would be nice in the summer to wear on a cooler evening or a typical British day

This item is very soft and comfortable. It does run a little large, but I expected that from Jaeger. It holds its shape well and I’m extremely pleased with it. I haven’t washed it yet so can’t comment on that.
