The shoe fits comfortably, and the mesh upper feels snug but not tight. Like a well-fit glove. However, the "fuel cell" midsole feels like im walking on a damp sponge. My heel crashes all the way to the ground with every step and there is very little support. I do not recommend this for anything more than strolling around the grocery store.

My propel v5 is excellent for walking, I walk 5 miles daily before work, I live in new york lot of snow this winter propel v5 was excellent for the condition ., I use another New balance for running.

It is a great shoe. Comfy and light. I have my personal orthodics in them but still roomy enough to feel right. I wear size 17 2E. I walk don’t run. But it’s great for walking.

I’ve been a lifelong New Balance customer and truly love most of their products, which is why this was such a surprise. The sizing on this shoe does not match other New Balance shoes in the same size at all. The fit felt off immediately and was actually uncomfortable to the point of being painful. Additionally, the shoe feels unusually heavy for something marketed as a performance shoe. Unfortunately, it just didn’t work for me, and I returned it within 36 hours.
