Ghost 17 Running Trainers

did not fit like the Ghost 16. The Ghost 17 caused knee pain and had to be returned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long distance runner and I've used various shoes for my road and trail runs. I always have a pair of Brooks in my running shoe lineup because they are generally comfortable and last many miles. I got over 700 miles out of my Ghost Max running shoes from last year! These Ghost 17s are also very good running shoes. I'm glad they're not so narrow. I ordered the regular width and the toe box is wide enough that it doesn't cramp my toes. I hate cramped toes! The shoe also has the right amount of cushion for road runs. Good shoe!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good shoe with just a couple of minor issues for me. The tow box is just a little bit tight. The arch support applies a little too much pressure at the front part of my heel on the arch side.. The heel cushioning is a little too squishy and soft, but not as bad as Hoka.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with many other reviews have noted, the material is too high/stiff at the lace lock, that causes rubbing at the front of the heel area. Caused bleeding/blisters. Also lower heel causing slippage. And much firmer midsole from previous models of Ghost. Best run was the Ghost 13-15. Brooks, please go back to previous uppers that we all loved!

Great shoe to get back in the habit of being active outdoors or in the gym.

As an owner of several versions of Ghost in prior years, I am deeply disappointed in my purchase of Ghost 17s. In a nushell, if I wanted to feel like i had pillows on my feet I would wear HOKAs. It seems that majoer cushioning was added to this line, and yet it was not made clear prior to my purchase. While the Ghost series was my standard purchase for years without thinking twice, it appears that I will now have to search out a new brand that doesn't simulate walking around on pillows. More cushioning is not the desire of all who wear athletic shoes.

Got to say they’re not great for my feet. The inner part of the arch cuts into my foot when I run. They’re good for walking! Just not running perhaps? At least for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable and plenty of room. The Ghost 17 isn’t as cushy as the Glycerin, which I like, yet they do have great cushioning, which i like better. They also seem to have more room around the toe. Overall these are exactly what I wanted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been running in Ghosts forever at this point. They have never failed me. I love the white look of these, but I know they are going to get so dirty so fast. I do wish they were a bit cheaper though.
