Great Sneakes

Not like previous model

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

If you’ve enjoyed wearing these shoes in the past this model does not compare. Don’t waste your money. They feel completely different, less cushion, lower arch support and the tread is 1/2” narrower than the Glycerin 22. Extremely disappointed. Brooks ruined a very comfortable shoe.

Great shoe

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely comfortable yet light. Great for long runs. They remind me of older glycerin models that were my favorite. Size is similar to other Brooks shoes, 0.5 to 1 size up from my regular shoes.

I’ve worn brooks for years. Unfortunately this pair is one of the worst I have worn. They are heavy and clunky- it makes my runs very difficult and I don’t like them. I would not recommend these and hope to return these and go back to the Launch

Guys, they listened! ❤️

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ’ve been a die-hard Glycerin fan for years. When they're good, they're great! That said, something has been off since the 20. I’m really happy to say the newest version feels like a return to form. Over the last few releases, there were a few things that just felt slightly off—but this version seems to have worked those out. The fit is dialed in again, hugging the foot comfortably without feeling restrictive. And the cushioning? Incredible. It’s soft without being mushy, and it really holds up over longer runs. What stood out most to me is how much later my feet start to fatigue compared to my last few pairs. That alone makes a huge difference in overall comfort and performance. It feels like Brooks listened (thank you) and refined what made the Glycerin great in the first place. I really hope they keep building on this, because this version is a big step in the right direction.

23 model not as great as the original

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd pair of Glycerin. First the 21 model, then the 22 and I’ve loved them so much. Super comfy on my feet, BUT this 23 version missed the mark they aren’t as soft anymore. Super disappointing.

Best shoes

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first pair of brooks and they are seriously the best! I have wider feet but the normal width works for me. I use them for walking/at the gym and they are perfect.

Best shoes i have even worn!

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can not believe I waited so long to get these shoes, they are like walking on cloud. I have Neuropathy and varicose veins in my legs along with sciatica.. I put these on and I have no leg problems! I am not getting paid for saying these. I absolutely love these shoes! Would like a slip on pair for house shoes. Hoping you make them again!

Walking on a cloud!

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

Runs Small

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They are unfortunately unwearable for me. These shoes run small and they hurt my big toe so I would recommend going up half a size. Pretty color though.

Had high hopes!

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Currently returning them! They didn’t fit as the other Brooks styles. I didn’t care for the backings on this style, it felt like my shoe was going to slip off.

My calves are on fire with the 23's.

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

This is probably my 8th pair of Glycerin's I have bought in the past ten years. There is something about the 23 that is different.... MY CALVES ARE ON FIRE when I walk or even try to run. After half a mile my legs feel cooked. I hate to say it, but I am going to wear my 22's because the 23's make any walk/run feel worse. I feel like I can't even make it 2 miles without my legs feeling like they are going to fall off.

Great fit!!

Yes, I recommend this

I’ve got wider feet and this trainer gives me the added room and comfort I need around my toes. I used to struggle with my toenails and now I’m able to walk pain free.

23 is totally different, not in a good way

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

I’ve been wearing the Glycerin shoe since the 20 model. I’ve loved them all. Brooks really screwed up with the 23. The drop changed, which causes my feet to slide forward in the shoe, making my big toes uncomfortable. They’re also too wide. I’ve been working with an orthotist for the last two months, and after several adjustments, we’d finally got the orthotics where I need them in the 22. They don’t work in this new model shoe. I also tried to Ghost 17, and the Glycerin Flex, at a local retailer. I thought the Ghost worked, but it doesn’t, which I found out after a few days of wearing it. Too tight in the toe box and because of the design of the upper, it rubs my right small toe, causing additional irritation (I have a problem with pressure on that toe, which is something that was solved with my orthotics in the 22 model). Flex doesn’t work with orthotics. I’ve been wearing Brooks since 2021, when I discovered the Glycerin. They have been the only shoes other than Birkenstocks, that fit me. Now I’m going have to find another shoe brand, as I’ve tried all the Brooks options. I’m not only disappointed, I’m extremely aggravated. Every new model has been fine. I don’t know who designed the latest one.
