The heal to toe transition is excellent and the cushion effect excellent on my knees and legs! Brooks you hit a home run with these shoes! I will be buying another pair .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have planter fasciitis and bad knees and I have tried many shoes throughout my years. This is one of the best for comfort, stability, and seems to be very well made. I just bought them a week ago and I am searching for more colors to add to my arsenal. Thank you guys for my relief from constant pain. You have a customer for life.

Brooks by the sea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always run in Glycerin’s and upgraded to the Max when it came out. This newer model feels so good during long runs, I almost don’t notice I have them on. I once tried out a competitor with similar style but was to loose at the ankles. Color choice insures people can see me, even if they don’t want to!

Max

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Glycerin Max 2 takes the "maximalist" trend and refines it. While some high-stack shoes feel like balancing on marshmallows, Brooks has managed to maintain a sense of stability and energy return that keeps the ride from feeling mushy.

Great for long shifts
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear these for long hospital shifts and they’ve been excellent. The cushioning is very soft but still supportive, which helps a lot during long hours on my feet. My feet feel much less fatigued compared to other shoes I’ve tried.

A classic designed shoe from the upper with all the tech in the softness and sponginess of the sole. It has a unique rock point in the heel that move you heel to toe in a smooth fashion. With softness comes faster wear however. Be cautious on sharp rocks, glass or other sharp objects as it may tear the sole easily.

Great cushioning but fit needs improvement

Extremely plush, comfortable shoe however I feel the tongue padding is too thick. When I tie the shoes the upper laces dig into the top of my foot which is really annoying. I don’t have this problem with my Caldera’s. Otherwise a very comfortable shoe but will probably return.

My favorite
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite shoe, so far. I’ve tried other brands in my first year of running. And this one has been the most comfortable. Although the toe box doesn’t have the same shape as Altra, it still has ample width to not force the toes to a point. As a PT, I feel like it’s important to let the toes splay. These allow that. Obviously, great cushion/stack, along with good stability. I also feel like these have good traction, as I haven’t slipped or slid on wet pavement.

Cushion with some bounce
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my go-to for marathon training and running. Other parts of my body start feeling the long miles before my feet do. 10k’s and longer are very easy on my lungs and feet! Think of a memory foam pillow but with return energy. Only reason for the four stars instead of five is the sizing. EVERY other pair of Brooks I own are 12.5. These feel smaller than all my others. Still a near perfect run though!

Not as good as original Glycerin Max
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was one of the 1st to have Glycerin Max. I ran three 1/2 marathons and 1 full in them (plus all of the training). I had 5 or 6 pairs back to back. I have flat feet, I'm heavy on the feet, and need a wider toe box. Max solved all of my problems. I don't know the technical words for what I'm trying to say but I feel is Max 2 is just a bit less padding, especially in the front. I feel my weight on each step and don't feel that spring I used to feel in Max. Now I'm out scouring the internet to stock up on Max 1 hoping when 3 comes out they restore that original vibe. I have the NYC 1/2 in 2 weeks and I'm bummed I won't perform optimally because I won't have time to get them and break them in. Also stock is scarce. If I didn't ever have the original Max I would call these super comfortable and amazing. Original Max were just more amazing for me personally.
