A solid choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very structured shoe. The mesh top fits snugly so be aware if you use inserts. I love the feel of the shoes. Light yet springy on the launch. A great street running shoe for 5ks, it helps power you through each step.

They're like clouds
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used these to run a marathon recently. They are very light and i love the cushioning bounce when I run. I have flat feet but these are still very comfortable. I think they helped keep the wear and tear on my joints lower while running the race. I recommend!

Plush but not overdone

Animal Hooves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned about 10 pairs of Brooks over the years, and my all time favorites are the Glycerin Stealth and the regular Glycerin. They’ve always felt smooth, supportive, and reliable for my runs. The Glycerin Max 3 definitely looks nice and modern. I was excited to try them. But on a 2 mile run, my left foot felt really unstable. I deal with some overpronation, and it honestly felt like my foot was collapsing inward, almost like I was running on uneven hooves. It was uncomfortable the entire run and hard to ignore. I’m not sure if it’s the shoe geometry or just not enough support for my stride, but for me, it did not feel secure. I’ll probably stick with the Glycerin line that’s worked better for my feet.

Shoe fit was too narrow
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
I ordered two of these pairs as I read the fit is pretty narrow. Unfortunately for me, even with a size up, I still found the shoes to be too narrow and uncomfortable after a run. I ultimately had to return them.

Champion Pedigree
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a big fan of the Hyperion Max for a while now, I started out with several color ways of the first variation and then moved on the the Hyperion Max 2s for my first ever Ironman Event. Like its predecessors the Hyperion Max 3 DOES NOT disappoint! Very Comfortable and springy shoe! Will be ordering more color ways and make this my staple running shoe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d say this is a very different pair of shoes compared to Hyperion Max 2. It has very soft cushioning sole, but for the reason, the height is significantly higher, almost to the point you can feel a bit unsteady. Also, the shoe box feels narrower. Because of the cushion, I feel like their responsiveness has a bit of a lag putting you in a longer eccentric phase - my calves got sore after using them for a 13 mile run. Would need to condition to avoid injury. Overall, good shoes for a zone 2 training shoes I think, but not sure if I’d race in them.

Rebound for days!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros - snug fit, innovative tongue design that actually works. Rebound you can feel. Light for its bulk. Decent durability Cons - stack height seems unnecessary, makes a neutral shoe feel a bit unstable. Recovering from an errant step to avoid potential ankle sprain is inherently more difficult at the height of the stack. I believe you can have the plush of the MAX at a slightly lower height. That stated, I am a middle aged, 6’3” 192 lbs runner putting 20-30 miles a week on them, 6-20 mile runs on asphalt, at 7-8 min mile paces, last race in these was NYC marathon. And my current go-tos for every run.

Light weight and well cushioned

Can’t have just one pair of Hyperion Max 3

It is comfortable, lite, and breaths making it a natural choice for my feet. This is the 3rd pair in my running shoe rotation- the feet want what the feet want 😃

Good shoe. Have to find where it fits for your individual training needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall is a good shoe. Needs more padding and for me the front landing bit is a lil bit unstable. I prefer a wider, flatter landing pad. The weight is great, the shoe inner is very comfortable, wish had a thicker tongue. I use this shoe more for Sprinting or shorter runs.
