These socks are really lovely, the wool is so soft, the only thing that my husband has said is that the tops of the socks are a little tight for him. He definitely would recommend them.

Excellent quality socks, very pleased. The only problem remains a continuous problem trying to log in and buy. Twice now with M and S, the site will not let me login. I have to change the password and then it will not accept the change. I therefore have the inconvenience of ringing them up to order.

These merino socks have the right composition for softness, warmth and durability. Not only good as dress socks but much cheaper than buying merino sock liners for skiing or hiking. Just remember to wash cold and air dry.

Bought these to wear with Chelsea boots. Warm but not sweaty (which I can suffer from with nylon) but not thick enough for hiking boots. They do leave a line on your leg but not uncomfortably tight (and I have quite large calf muscles). The material bobbles from first wear (unlike nylon - but see first comment) but no more than you'd expect from wool mix. Would recommend.
