It’s a heavy board but it’s very rough and needs sanded and oiled. As it is presented it’s not fit for use. I’d advise spending a little more and getting something better quality. Poor for the price.

So nice to use and very easy to clean - just grab a warm soapy sponge and wipe dry. Instructions with the package we're clear and helpful. Feels a lot better to cut my food on wood instead of plastic and knowing that I'm helping my knives stay sharper for longer.

A very large board, 50cm x 35cm x 4cm, that i bought via click & collect. The board was in excellent condition when i got it home, no dinks or damage from the M&S click & collect system so very happy about that. Quality looks to be very good and the weight is impressive. Our first use of it was as a Christmas cheese board with all the associated trimmings. Lots of positive comments from our guests about it. Very happy.

Terrible quality
The wood faded on the first use. We've now been using the board for two weeks and it looks like we we've had it for ten years. Completely out of place in our new kitchen. As a Mum, who works full time, I don’t know when I'm meant to lug the heavy board back to the shop to discuss a refund. And would they even provide a refund because it's been used? Prime example of a corporate prioritisng profit over quality and the customer.

This board is as yet unopened because it is a Christmas gift. However, it arrived well packaged with a decent amount of bubble wrap to protect it and looks really good. It sits flat on the work surface and should provide years of service. It is excellent value, being less than half the price of similarly sized boards I have seen.

This is a beautiful board, nice and large for meal prep. Definitely needs an oil prior to use. But unfortunately similar to other reviews - the board has split after 2 months.
