This has been my first week using these for weights, very sturdy on squats & deadlifts, very comfy but stable, look good too.

Toe Box of Metcon 10 is Very Tight
Originally posted on Nike
Shoes could’ve been great. While the look of it is so nice, the toe box is very tight. My toes rub the top of the inside front and it does feel tighter than other shoes. I do believe the length of the shoe is correct so it’s probably the make of the toe box dimensions. I have been a long time Nike wearer for the gym so I’m bummed this particular make of the metcon 10 has these issues. For reference I have none wide feet and size between an 8-8.5. I tried the 8 and 8.5, had the same issue on this style.

Complete dissapointment

I had Metcon9s in womens size 10 and was pleased with the runner but after wearing them for almost 2 year and wanted to replace them. Ordered a women's size 10, metcon10 and they were too small and had to return them, Ordered a women's size 10.5 metcon10 and they were too small and returned them. Ordered metcon10 in womens size 11 and they fir for length but the top lace is way too low and so the top lace loosens and then its like I constantly have to tighter the top lace. Its like its missing another hole around the ankle for lacing the runners. No stores carry a women size 11 shoe to try on prior to purchase and I've never worn a size 11 in a nike runner. I wish they went back to the metcon9 design. Why change? I will be unlikely to buy another pair of Nike every again.

Barbell Beauty

Best lifting shoe out there. Flat which are perfect for those heavy leg and glute days. Functional Fitness approved. Great support. I did prefer a half size up. Originally 7.5 but opted for the 8 and they are perfect. I have the maroon color way which are even prettier in person .

Cute and comfy

They are cute and comfortable though I should’ve gotten them a 1/2 size bigger. They run small so size up a half size. I got lots of compliments.

Sizing sucks
Originally posted on Nike
Beware got these in my size and they fit so tight. These definitely run small, had to return for a bigger size. Other than that these shoes are so nice.

Highly disappointed
Originally posted on Nike
I have always been a fan of the Metcon and I am extremely disappointed with this one. I am usually a size 9, but I decided to get a 9.5 based on the reviews, it was so snug, my toes were rubbing off the tip of the shoe and it was just to tight. I had to return and got a size 10, it was too wide.

Such a unique style!
Originally posted on Nike
I absolutely love them! Such a unique style! I had to return size 5.5 and buy size 6. I’ve never been 6 in my entire life! I thought 6 would look and feel too big for me but I’m so glad it didn’t!!! I just wish that it could have more colour options to personalise it. I bought the white one with silver details so that it will go well with most of the gym outfits. I use the trainers for workout (no major lifting here!). They are so stable! Such a difference from my previous trainers (not made for stability). I definitely recommend it and hope you love it too!

Short and wide
Originally posted on Nike
Like other reviews state - you will have to get one whole size bigger than you normally get, but it will be very wide. Even if it ran the same size - it’s still wider than normal which is unfortunate.

Size up!
Originally posted on Nike
I love metcons but make sure to go up an entire size! They’re very narrow and run super small. Had to exchange them twice. Hopefully the next size up is more comfy!

Great for strength training
Originally posted on Nike
I love these! I purchased for strength training days at the game and they have improved my range of motion and my stability. I will purchase again. I always get a half size bigger than my normal size in sneakers…I did that with these and they fit great! I wouldn’t go up an entire size.

Good for lifting

Sizing: a lot of reviews have mentioned that these run small and to size up which I agree to a certain extent. In general, I do wear a 9.5. In my Nike Air Force 1s I wear a 9.5 and in these I sized up to a 10 which fit fine. Some reviews were saying to size up even more, so when I ordered, I got a 10 and a 10.5. The 10.5 was way too big. I would even say I find the 10 to be wide but not uncomfortably wide. I would say either stick to your regular size but if you ever get shoes in 1/2 size up, I would err on the side of sizing slightly up. Stiffness: this is a very stiff shoe with not a ton of cushion, if you prefer cushion this is not for you. For lifting the stiffness works well Toebox: is wider than I am use to but makes sense for lifting. It just took some getting use to. Flat: These are a flat shoe and offer good stability due to this. Purpose: For the purpose of a lifting, these have lived up to their purpose. They provide good stability and sturdiness for lifting.

Nice but sizing is off.
Originally posted on Nike
I got the neon green and the colour is absolutely beautiful and really stands out. The sizing however is very confusing. I’m usually always a size UK 6.5, but like other reviews, my toes were touching the front. I then bought a size 7 AND size 7.5 to try. Whilst the bigger sizes were definitely more comfortable at the front/toe area, I felt both had a little space at the ankle areas, so for example, slipping up/out if I did a lunge; and also spaces at the top/under the laces area. After much deliberation, I eventually kept the 6.5 and I’m hoping it will stretch a little as I wear them, fingers crossed.

I am always a 7.5, i have to exchange my pair for a size 8. So I would definitely size up a half size.

Short & Wide in Toe Box

Absolutely HATE the new Metcon!!!! I have a Metcon 8 and love them, and the 9/10 are the worst. The toe box is way too big and they are not sized properly. Please go back to your old ways!

Glad I went up a whole size
Originally posted on Nike
I’m so glad I heeded the advice of other reviewers and sized up a whole size. I normally wear a 10 in street shoes and rarely, a 10.5 in athletic shoes, but fortunately there wasn’t a 10.5 in the turquoise shoes so I went up to size 11 and it’s a good thing I did because with a 10.5, I think my toes would have been pressing against the top of the shoe. The toe box is plenty wide, which I like (my feet are regular width but I like to not have my toes scrunched together). The heel seems lower than what I’ve been used to so I’m still assessing that. I definitely noticed having better balance in my exercise class because these shoes provide a good platform for the feet. I gave them four stars because the sizing really is off, lengthwise, from what most of us are used to.

Good, but small

Good shoe, but run really small. Order a FULL size up! Not a half.

Half size up not full
