I bought these to try. Was after some lightweight shorts for poolside or beach. the double fabric made them feel a little thick and bulky so I preferred the cotton cutwork shorts in the same bright blue.

Lovely material but too short for me
I bought similar shorts from M&S a couple of years ago and loved them - these not quite so much, the material is the same but they are shorter in length and the waistline is a drawstring not a deep elasticated band.

Great shorts for Summer
I have just bought these shorts ready for the Summer. They are light weight, a good length and not see through which is great for white shorts! The drawstring allows for a good fit around the waist. I can see the versatility of wearing for beach, bbq’s or more dressed up with a nice top! Looking forward to wearing them.

Have not had a chance to wear yet...great shape. No stretch which is unusual these days...but they're cotton, pure cotton so no complaints...would have liked a couple of inches longer...great fit and style...more colours please lemon, pink and pale blue.
