Got this red velvet cake for a family gathering, and it was a huge hit. The cake was incredibly moist with a rich, velvety texture, and the cream cheese frosting was perfectly balanced, not too sweet but still indulgent. Absolutely delicious, most cake. Daughter loves red velvet cake and was a huge fan of this cake. Plenty big enough for 16 people maybe more! Beautifully presented cake and each cream piping swirl made for a good slice cutting indicator. Great cake, would buy again.

My son specifically asked for a red velvet cake to be baked by his Dad or M&S. For the sake of time as we had a lot to do for my son’s 21st I opted for M&S. I knew it would be tasty and M&S wouldn’t let me down. The cake was absolutely tasteless. It was bland. It was soft and cannot complain from that respect. I’ve never tasted a more bland cake from M&S. He was disappointed. I had also ordered another cake from elsewhere as two years ago M&S lost his birthday cake, so I planned a contingency. M&S in my experience don’t lose cakes. I won’t order another red velvet. I will order again other cakes.

A beautiful and delicious cake! Whilst it said not to put in the fridge - we had to do this as we had collected 24 hours before the event. We took it out in plenty of time and lasted for ages in the fridge afterwards if you can’t eat all at once!
