Trainers sure aren't Jazz Originals
Originally posted on Saucony
Yes, I recommend this
I'm a Saucony Jazz Original fan, big time and for a very long time: for walking, hiking, exercising, doing PT. I'm not a runner. Thought I'd try this other model because the Jazz are hard to find - Saucony isn't showing commitment to keeping the Jazz model going. So, I found the Trainer to be short in the heal. Hard for me to be more specific, but it just did not feel right enough to wear so I returned it. If I encountered Trainers at a show store, I could try on a couple different sizes and maybe correct the too short in the heal feeling.

Really nice everyday work shoe.

I really like them. I’ve had a ton of shoes over the years as a long time competitive runner. Been wearing running shoes as a school teacher work shoe forever. I’ve been having a little nuisance in my foot over the years. But I finally bought a pair of casual shoes to wear to work and my foot issue does not bother me in these minimal support shoes. Maybe all the bells and whistles are too much for this old man.

Nice shoe, lacks quality

After approximately a year of wearing them (light use) the back of the sole became unattached from the shoe. A shame since I really like how they look and I get lots of compliments on them :(

Attractive retro styling
I love the look of these and they are wide enough for my wider feet. They are a tad long for my size 5 but they look preppy and are comfortable for casual dining out etc. I wouldn’t use them for a serious walk as I find that the heel which slopes inward doesn’t give me the stability for striding out. I bought them in the sale Had I paid full price I would have felt compelled to return as I need a bit more out of a solid pair of exercise trainers.

Not comfortable

I wore them 1 time and they rubbed the back of my feet raw because of the shape of shoe. I didn’t realize it would do that because I wear Adidas, Keds, Vans etc… all very similiar style of shoe. Anyway I’m not a fan of this particular style although I like Saucony in general.

Happy Feet at Disney World

I purchased these shoes for our recent trip to Disney World. We walked 23,000 steps per day for four days and these shoes kept my feet comfortable and happy the whole time. Lightweight, perfect cushion, easy to get on and off, laces stayed secure, no blisters. On multiple occasions I said to my family "I am SO pleased with these shoes!"

I wanted to love it, but this shoe is uncomfortable on my feet. The quality isn’t there, and the sole feels too narrow.

Retains OG performance but only 4 narrow feet :(

In a world of high stack plated marshmallows this was refreshing a real performance racing flat from the late 70's .Yes You Can Run in These made with proper foam. Edwin Roberts Temple University ran in these in 1978-80 Edwin called them the "Deffest" a 70s "cool word" It was very cool to see a retro trainer with actual performance traits retained , so you can actually run in them. Unlike most brand retro trainers brought back for "walk around" fashion divas only. Its good likely for D wide so regular or narrow but if an E wide or wider you will hang over the outsole so not good. I get the business decision here but I would have loved to experience running in these. If they can make a wide someday. I like to experience how real athletes like me trained decades ago. Saucony let me know if you ever do these in a wide :)

Size accurate. Low around heel and ankle. Can’t decide if that’s good or bad. Hence only 4 stars

I’m usually a size 6, 6.5, or 7( normally a Size 6 ), depending on brand. I don’t have a very narrow foot, I’d say a little wide of normal. I bought a Size 7 Black . They were perfect for me. They are comfortable, bit of a retro design which I like when I’m doing a monochromatic outfit. Happy customer- bonus I got them in the sale. Thanks M&S

Jazz Trainers - Come up Small
No, I don't recommend this
Nice looking and good quality trainer. Unfortunately returned as the sizing is not your usual size, they come up at least a size smaller & they are narrow.

Very cheap materials. No support in the heel, you sink into it.

Very comfortable smart trainers - I replaced the white laces with black ones and they look even smarter IMHO. Half price in the sale so a great bargain.

Great classic styling

Beautiful styled shoe. It has that classic/retro look that can be dressed up or down - depending on your vibe. The only drawback is that the shoe did not fit me well. I typically wear a size 12 M, but ordered these in a size 11.5, as I was planning to wear without socks, or thin no-show socks. The length and width of the shoe fit just right, but for whatever reason, the heel of the shoe felt very low against the back of my foot, and slipped off while I was trying them on. I decided to return them but will try ordering in my regular size 12 and see how that goes.
