Trainer 80 Trainers

In a world of high stack plated marshmallows this was refreshing a real performance racing flat from the late 70's .Yes You Can Run in These made with proper foam. Edwin Roberts Temple University ran in these in 1978-80 Edwin called them the "Deffest" a 70s "cool word" It was very cool to see a retro trainer with actual performance traits retained , so you can actually run in them. Unlike most brand retro trainers brought back for "walk around" fashion divas only. Its good likely for D wide so regular or narrow but if an E wide or wider you will hang over the outsole so not good. I get the business decision here but I would have loved to experience running in these. If they can make a wide someday. I like to experience how real athletes like me trained decades ago. Saucony let me know if you ever do these in a wide :)

Very cheap materials. No support in the heel, you sink into it.

Beautiful styled shoe. It has that classic/retro look that can be dressed up or down - depending on your vibe. The only drawback is that the shoe did not fit me well. I typically wear a size 12 M, but ordered these in a size 11.5, as I was planning to wear without socks, or thin no-show socks. The length and width of the shoe fit just right, but for whatever reason, the heel of the shoe felt very low against the back of my foot, and slipped off while I was trying them on. I decided to return them but will try ordering in my regular size 12 and see how that goes.

Super comfy and casual for every day wear. Goes with almost every look, even business casual.

I want to like this shoe. It's comfortable, but my foot feels unstable in this shoe. Even family asked if I was okay from my gait in this shoe

Stylish, super comfortable, brought two pairs, black and white. I am desperate to get the red stripe ones, wish they had my size. It’s crazy that such a stylish shoe is like walking on a cloud. Please get in more colors!

This was my first pair of Saucony and I’m really impressed. They are super comfortable and I really enjoy wearing them! As someone that has close to 100 different pairs of shoes, these are close to the top.

I adore this style and have them in multiple colors. The insole is comfortable for a full day of walking, the style is low profile, but punchy with the graphic cut-outs. They are lightweight and easy to match with many outfits.

Looks great, but very uncomfortable. Expensive for how little material and cushioning there is. Long time fan of the Jazz, going back to that.

This is my third pair and I love them. I own all different brands of sneakers for walking and this is by far my favorite! Very spongey under my feet when I walk.

This has been a great shoe for walking on an indoor track and YMCA classes. I've worn this brand before....great shoes

I had purchased and returned these. I really like the aesthetics of the trainer 80. Saucony's designers are certainly on the right track! But but but my main reason for return was that the midsole foam was just way too soft and not supportive enough. It feels quite unlike the classic Jazz of years past, which you could wear all day (Yes, I know- He's asking for a firmer shoe? For more comfort? That's crazy! Actually, that would actually make all the difference in the world for daily wear! Look at the competition) Also, the upper materials felt rather cheap and not premium. If this shoe was given a more premium materials overhaul, and was made firmer, it would be a home run! Learn the right lessons here Saucony :) !!!

I bought these recently. Ouch! They hurt bad. I don't think I've ever owned such a painful shoe. I love the style, but am so disappointed by the fit...
