Elevated coat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great elevated coat. It's very versatile and improves the dressiness of any outfit. It's super waterproof and holds the shape well. I love wearing it with a pair of jeans and boots. If you have large biceps, it may fit a little small in that area but other than that it's great. It covers long sleeves fully. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Men's Wenham Waterproof Barn Coat is a simple jacket for everyday use. It keeps you dry in light rain and looks nice and classic. It feels comfortable and has good pockets, but it's not warm, so you'll need to wear extra layers when it's cold. The fit is a bit loose, and it's not meant for heavy rain. Overall, it's a good jacket for daily use in mild, rainy weather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat turns heads every time. Dark sapphire color is clean, corduroy collar makes it look sharp, and it actually keeps you dry. Worth every penny. Plus people keep telling me I look nice and get head turns! Lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved how well it's fits me I am 6'2" and feels true to my size which is an L, it's not too bulky which I like and give you the protection from wind here in the west coast feels practical for an everyday jacket that keeps you warm and is waterproof as well. I do however feel the noise it makes every time I move around feels a little uncomfortable and distracting too. But i do like the material quality inside it's perfect for a windy cold day and also looks great with the proper length for my height. I would recommend if you want a lighter everyday coat for the season that also looks great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "I've been really impressed with this barn coat. The quality feels exactly like what you'd expect from Timberland-durable, sturdy, and built to last. The material is thick without feeling too heavy, and it keeps me warm in chilly weather without overheating. I also like the classic look-it's simple but stylish and works with pretty much anything. The pockets are actually useful too, which is a big plus. Definitely a solid investment piece."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Timberland Wenham Waterproof coat is great! The overall comfortability is amazing. It is great for layering. The Waterproofing was great in the rain. The materials feel and look great. The collar is comfortable with Sherpa lining. The only thing I could possibly complain about is the material it's a little loud when moving but it seems to be less over time while wearing it and breaking it in. I received this through a product testing opportunity. This did not affect my review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly I'd like to thank Timberland for my Free men's Wenham Waterproof Barn coat I received thru being a BzzAgent program sampling participant . This coat fits me really well , it's loosely fitting and comfortable as I'm 6'4 , 230 pounds . It's lengthy and wide enough at a XL , but it's a noisy coat . It makes sounds every time I make any sudden moves which can be annoying. Ultimately my Wenham coat does it's job , from the outside I can barely feel the wind or fan hitting me , it covers my neck down past my torso and pelvic well . Environmentally friendly my Wenham coat is made from 100 percent ♻️ recycled paper! At this rate it's too pricey and not stylish enough for me to want to purchase but if it was cheaper I would for it's value. I would recommend this jacket to others if the price is right for them .

Gemini said A Disappointing Departure from the Classic Barn

No, I don't recommend this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love the Timberland Wenham Waterproof Barn Coat, especially given the brand's reputation for rugged, reliable gear, but this particular piece was a major letdown. From the moment I put it on, the comfort level just wasn't there; it felt stiff and restrictive in a way that didn't seem like it would just "break in" over time. The most distracting part, however, was the sound. Every time I moved my arms or adjusted my posture, the fabric emitted a loud, crinkling noise that made me feel like I was wearing a heavy-duty trash bag rather than a premium jacket. That leads me to the material itself, which was the biggest dealbreaker for me. While I understand the need for waterproofing, the coat had an overwhelming plastic-like texture that felt cheap to the touch and lacked any of the Supple, high-quality feel you expect at this price point. Instead of a breathable, outdoor staple, it felt synthetic and clammy, making it generally unpleasant for daily wear. It looks decent on the hanger, but the actual experience of wearing it is far from the rugged comfort Timberland usually delivers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clean look, keeps you dry, and easy to wear with anything. The corduroy collar gives it a nice touch, and it's lightweight enough to layer without feeling bulky. Not super warm on its own, but perfect for everyday wear in cooler or rainy weather. Solid all-around jacket.

Perfect for Spring! But colder weather? Not so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to try the Wenham Waterproof Barn Coat for about a month, which was perfect for the temperamental weather here in Chicago (mother nature can't make up her mind this time of year). The season started off very cold and very snowy, which is when I received my jacket. One thing I noticed about the jacket right away was the thickness - it's a thin jacket. Since it was so cold out, I had to wear layers underneath the jacket to warm (not ideal for a winter coat, in my opinion). There's not much in the way of insulation inside, though the outside does feel quite nice. When the spring-like temps rolled in, this jacket was perfect - throw it on, and you're good to go. Not too heavy but enough material to keep me dry and warm. One feature I was less-than-thrilled with was the zipper - it felt awkward to grab the zipper handle because of the second outer layer covering the zipper (a great weatherproof feature, not so great for zipping up quickly if you're in a hurry). I did appreciate the feel of the coat's outer layer and the depth of the pockets (I'm a pocket person). The length of the jacket was just right - not too long to feel like a pea coat, not as short as a Dickie's jacket. I wouldn't recommend this jacket for someone looking for a winter coat and warmth, but I would recommend it for cool spring weather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great every day wear coat. Many jackets are too thick and I have to take them off after a bit but that wasn't the case here. It has been cold and rainy the past two weeks and it has been my go to jacket. The pockets are less to the front than I would like and it does run a tad large but I think that is the style it's going for and it does look great so no complaints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wouldn't typically go for a jacket like this, as I usually wear more traditional reason jackets from Columbia or North Face. Once I started wearing it, I liked it much more that I thought i would. I it is much more comfortable than other rain jackets that feel very stiff. I also think it looks better than the more plastic looking jackets. My only gripe with this jacket is that the zipper is not very smooth and takes me longer than I would like to get it on track. I was provided the jacket in return for this review, otherwise I would have tried to exchange it to see if all units had difficult zippers. I look forward to using it on future rainy days!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit of this coat surprised me. I have long arms and torso. I tend to go up a size just to fit my arms. This coat fits perfectly without having to size up. On a windy, rainy 45 degree day this coat kept me warm and dry. I highly recommend this coat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket is very comfy and helps keep the wind out as well as the water when walking around town. It also looks very stylish while serving it's function. The jacket isn't too heavy to be a hindrance but also not to light that it doesn't feel premium or insulated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really happy with the Men's Wenham Waterproof Barn Coat. It feels well-made and sturdy without being stiff, and it does a great job keeping out rain and wind. Lately I've been wearing it as the weather has been a mix of rain and leftover snow, so it's been especially useful for staying dry without overheating. The fit is comfortable with enough room for layering, which makes it practical for cooler days. I also like the simple, classic design-it looks good whether I'm wearing it around town or outdoors. The pockets are useful and well-placed, and the coat holds up nicely after regular use. Overall, it's a solid, dependable jacket that does exactly what it's supposed to do.
