This lamp is beautiful and I bought the ceiling shade to match giving my lounge a lovely cottage feel .However the assembly instructions are unclear .If you follow them it’s impossible to attach the top pole. After much experimenting it became clear that you need to twist the top piece of cable before pulling it through, then screw the top section together therefore untwisting it straight again inside the pole.
