Wool Blend Layered Midaxi Dress

This dress is quite lovely. It is extremely chic and the fabrics are excellent quality. I bought a size up as I am between an 10 and a 12 and had the top half tailored around the bust darts which was pretty straightforward as it is princess seams. It really looks the business and can be worn to formal events or just to enjoy life! Really impressed.

Absolutely love the design of this dress...the gabardine type weave of the bodice feels very well made, and I love the slightly sculptural waist peplum, reminds me slightly of a Dior New Look shape, hourglass, but less exaggerated, of course. The pleated sunray skirt is a beautiful colour. My only criticism is that its very long on me. I am 5ft 6inches and wanted it to sit midi and mid calf, to allow me to dance in it with heels on, or wear it casually with ballet flats or Mary Janes. Sadly a sunray pleat in chiffon is a pain to shorten in length...so I'll have to try getting it altered from the waist point, but then of course, its gonna need unpicking all around the zipper etc... My only options is to either return it, as its not the length the model wears it, or cut the hem and allow it to fray naturally... More of this type of modernist designing please! Less nasty polyester blends! Good job, design team X

Purchased this dress for my Birthday celebrations later in the year. There is something about it that just screams elegance. It can be dressed up for the evening or down for a daytime lunch

Saw this dress on instagram and had to have a look IRL - surprisingly for a £150 dress it arrived folded in a small plastic bag. However this dress is so forgiving and bore no signs of this - it came out of the packing and instantly looked amazing without any creasing. The material and make are top quality, it looks effortlessly sophisticated and would be a great dress for any dressy occasion.
